Self Publishing
S Hall-Wood spent 18 years as a landscaper and garden designer, building her business from the ground up, starting at the kitchen table of a council house. Her mother, a Western herbalist and her father, a Chinese herbalist, fostered a unique understanding of both horticulture and natural healing which deeply influenced her passion for plants and design.
As a mother of five, she balances her family life with her creative pursuits. While her writing experience has primarily focused on gardening articles and client briefs, she is now enthusiastically expanding into fiction, embracing the craft with dedication and passion.
Now the unofficial bit:
I am having fun writing paranormal and historical fantasy stories that I hope you enjoy reading. I have long been influenced by period dramas and women’s history, especially witchcraft and mythology. It is a privilege to be able to tell some of the stories that I have created.
These characters and their tales came to me while I worked and wouldn’t be quiet until I put them down on paper.
